I offer my condolences to the promised savior, Imam Al-Mahdi, may God hasten his reappearance, the schools of Islamic sciences particularly the school of Qom, and the Shia Muslims across the world over the passing away of the great Shia scholar, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Lotfullah Golpaigani, who came from a family of renowned scholars in the past two centuries; as His Eminence was the son of Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Jawad Saafi Golpaigani and the brother of Ayatollah Sheikh Ali Saafi Golpaigani (May God bless them).

I pray to Almighty God for this noble scholar to be reunited with the holy AhlulBayt, peace be upon them , and for his family and followers to have patience.

and there is no might and power except of God, The High, The Great.
