The hajj office of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadegh Hosseini Shirazi hosted a gathering in Mecca on Monday, the 29th of Dhu al-Qa'dah of this year. The gathering was attended by various scholarly, cultural, and social figures, as well as the pilgrims of the Holy Kaaba, including the members of the Medical Center for Hajj and Ziyarat of Iraq. During their visit with the representatives of the religious authority, the guests engaged in discussions on various religious, cultural, and social topics. Furthermore, congregational prayers and mourning ceremonies were held in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Jawad (peace be upon him), as part of the programs organized by this office on this day.
