A delegation from the Ahlul Bayt Cultural and Charitable Institution, visited the offices associated with religious authority in the city of Basra, holding a meeting with Major General Qasim Al-Atabi, the Chief of Police for the city. The discussion centered around the significance of mutual collaboration with the offices of religious authority and related institutions to promote a culture of moderation and dialogue. In this regard, the delegation also visited the Shatt al-Arab Police Department in the Basra province, meeting with Brigadier Saud Al-Abadi, the head of this department. During this meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between military and religious entities to address social issues, including drug abuse and other challenges affecting the youth in the current society. At the conclusion of these meetings, Sheikh Sadiq Al-Basri, the director of the Ahlul Bayt Institution, presented a collection of works by the esteemed Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hussaini Shirazi, to their hosts.
