The Al-Quran Al-Hakim Charity, linked to the religious authority in Karbala, organized a mourning procession to mark the seventh day of Imam Hussein's martyrdom. After Maghrib and Isha prayers on the night of 17th Muharram 1446, the procession started from the shrine of Alama Ibn Fahd Al-Hilli and proceeded towards the shrines of Abbas and Imam Hussein. The event was attended by numerous religious and scholarly figures, including members of Ayatollah Sadiq Shirazi's office, who expressed their condolences to Imam Mahdi.
