On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 1446 AH, and in adherence to the directives of the Grand Religious Authority Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husayni Shirazi, the Ahl al-Bayt Cultural and Charitable Institute in Basra implemented a special initiative to provide Eid clothes for over 50 orphans. As part of the project, orphaned children, accompanied by their families, were taken to a shopping center where they personally selected their desired clothes. The institute fully covered the full cost of all the required items for the children for this holiday.
