This week’s religious gathering in Karbala, organized by the Al-Khayr wal-Barakah Cultural Association, was dedicated to the memory of Hamza ibn Abdul-Muttalib (peace be upon him), marking the anniversary of his martyrdom. Attended by a number of devoted believers, the ceremony began with Quran recitation, supplication, and elegies. Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Abbas Naseri then delivered a lecture on events from the Battle of Uhud and the pivotal role Hamza played. The Al-Khayr wal-Barakah Cultural Association is affiliated with the religious authority and is based in Baghdad.
