On the 23rd of Shawwal 1446 AH, a mourning ceremony marking the martyrdom of Imam Ja’far Sadiq (P.B.U.H.) was held at the Imam al-Husayn bin Ali (P.B.U.H.) Hussainiya in Beirut—an institution affiliated with the religious authority. Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Abbas Hassan spoke on the Imam’s scientific, jurisprudential, and moral stature. The event also featured elegies by eulogist Sayyed Mushtaq al-Khadim. The gathering was well-attended by devotees of AhlulBayt (P.B.U.T.).
