Sheikh Sadiq al-Basri, director of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, Cultural and Charitable Institute—based in the city of Basra and affiliated with the religious authority—visited several Marja'iyyah-related institutions during a trip to the holy city of Najaf.

Among the stops on his visit was the Union of Shi’a Satellite Networks and Radios, one of the key centers connected to the Marja'iyyah in Najaf. He was warmly welcomed by Mr. Haidar al-Oboudi, the deputy head of the Union. Sheikh al-Basri expressed his appreciation for the Union’s valuable efforts and activities, praising their constructive role in supporting religion, the Shi’a faith, and the rituals of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him). He also stressed the importance of maintaining and continuing such impactful initiatives.

During his stay in Najaf, Sheikh al-Basri also visited Husayniyya al-Najaf al-Ashraf, another center affiliated with the Marja'iyyah. He congratulated the staff on its recent inauguration and wished them continued success and prosperity in their service to the religious community.
