Sheikh Kazem Karbalai, Director of the Karbala Charity Foundation—one of the centers affiliated with the religious authority in the holy city of Karbala—visited the Dhawi al-Qurba Institute in Najaf al-Ashraf, accompanied by several members of the foundation. During the visit, he closely observed the institute’s diverse activities.

According to reports, the institute holds Quranic sessions every Saturday night after Maghrib and Isha prayers and simultaneously revives gatherings dedicated to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

Among the institute’s notable activities are educational programs for girls and boys in various cultural and vocational fields. One of its initiatives includes a dedicated sewing room where girls receive training in tailoring. At the end of each course, those who excel are awarded a sewing machine. To date, 21 tailoring training sessions have been held.

Additionally, the institute offers technical training programs for youth, including courses on air conditioning (split unit) repair.

During the visit, Hujjat al-Islam Shammari, head of the Dhawi al-Qurba Institute, stated that the center is one of the valuable outcomes of the Karbala Charity Foundation.
