The office of the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi (may his shadow endure), in the city of Basra held a mourning ceremony to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him).
The ceremony was held on the night of the 29th of Dhu al-Qa'dah 1446 AH, with the attendance of a group of followers and devotees of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). During the event, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Muntazar Maksousi delivered a speech in which he discussed the life, virtues, and noble character of Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him).
