The Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) Cultural and Charitable Foundation, one of the centers affiliated with the Marja'iyyah in the city of Basra, held a special ceremony in honor of the educational staff of the city. The event was organized on the occasion of the anniversary of the marriage of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her), as well as the end of the academic year.

The ceremony took place in the hall of the Maqil Youth and Sports Association. During the event, Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Sadiq al-Basri extended his congratulations on the blessed occasion, expressed appreciation for the teachers' efforts, and called for the organization of summer courses for students.

The program continued with religious recitations and poetry and concluded with honoring 150 teachers by presenting them with certificates of appreciation, gifts, and works by the Grand Marja' Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi may God grant him long life.
