During the first ten days of Muharram 1447 AH, the Hussainiya of Devotees to Lady Fatima Zahra and Lady Khadija al-Kubra (peace be upon them), one of the centers affiliated with the religious authority in the city of Vimmerby, Sweden, hosted gatherings of mourners and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
These ceremonies, attended by members of the Shia community residing in Sweden, focused on recounting the tragedies faced by the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), particularly the events of Karbala. The sessions were followed by elegy recitations and mourning rituals performed by present eulogists.
The events were held to honor the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and to promote the culture and message of Ashura.
