The Mawkib “Tear of Ruqayyah” (peace be upon her), affiliated with the Shirazi religious authority, has established its presence in the holy city of Karbala to provide its blessed services to the pilgrims of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) for the year 1447 AH.

Since the beginning of the pilgrimage, the mawkib has been distributing hot meals daily to thousands of pilgrims arriving from both inside and outside Iraq. These services are offered in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and devotion to Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), in commemoration of the Hussaini rituals and as a continuation of the spirit of generosity and sacrifice established by the uprising of Karbala.
