The Tariq al-Noor Cultural Institute, one of the institutions affiliated with the Religious Authority in Baghdad, in cooperation with the Nahj al-Zahra (peace be upon her) School of Religious Sciences, held a mourning ceremony to mark the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

The event took place on Sunday, 29th of Safar, at the headquarters of the Nahj al-Zahra School and was attended by a large number of faithful women. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Iman Shuwaili, Director of the Tariq al-Noor Cultural Institute, in which she explained the circumstances of the martyrdom of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) and the events that followed. After the lecture, a mourning gathering was held, which was warmly received by the attendees.
