On the 17th of Rabi‘ al-Awwal 1447 A.H., Morteza Kariminia, a researcher of the Qur’an and the Mashhad al-Ridawi Mushaf, met with the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah al-‘Uzma Sayyid Sadiq Husayni Shirazi, in his honored residence in the holy city of Qom.

It is noteworthy that the Mashhad al-Ridawi Mushaf is the most complete collection of Qur’anic manuscripts in the Hijazi script from the first century of the Islamic calendar, preserved in the library of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (peace be upon him).

This valuable work, after seven years of research and technical preparation, was published in 1402 AH by the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) Institute in Qom, accompanied by an introduction in Arabic and English written by Mr. Kariminia.

Previously, the printed edition of this Mushaf was gifted to Grand Ayatollah on July 01, 2025, by the Ahlulbayt Institute.
