The Anwar al-Jawadain Institute, affiliated with the Marjaʿiyya in Baghdad, held an intellectual session at its headquarters in the holy city of Karbala under the theme: “Individual and Social Roles of Women.”
The session took place on the 22nd of Rabiʿ al-Awwal 1447 AH, with the presence of religious activists and faithful women.
In his address, Sheikh Ali al-ʿIsami emphasized that a Muslim woman must attain a level of awareness enabling her to face contemporary challenges and utilize existing opportunities in the best way. He further stressed the importance of understanding the language of the age and adapting to the conditions of time and place, while preserving religious values, moral principles, and cultural identity.
