On Tuesday, 30th of Rabi al-Awwal 1447 AH (September 23, 2025), another scholarly session of the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husayni Shirazi, was held at his residence in the holy city of Qom with the participation of dozens of scholars, religious figures, and seminary students.
In this session, discussions and exchanges of opinion were held on topics including:
- the ruling on one who denies the essentials of religion,
- conditions for the validity of an absentee divorce,
- commentary on a passage from the visitation prayer (Ziyarat) of Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him),
- the recommendation of expressing intense grief and lamentation for the tragedies of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him),
- exegesis of verse 98 of Surah Yunus,
- rulings concerning those who are religiously disadvantaged or unable to fully practice,
- the ruling on invoking mercy upon non-Shia,
and other related subjects.
