Distribution of Livelihood Aid and Cultural Activities in the Afghan Cities of Kabul and Mazar Sharif

According to the Media Center of the Office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husayni Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, on the 11th of Rabi Althani 1447 AH (October 16, 2025), a series of cultural and humanitarian activities were held in the cities of Kabul and Mazar Sharif by centers affiliated with the religious authority.

In Mazar Sharif, and in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversaries of Lady Fatimah Alzahra, peace be upon her, Lady Fatimah Almasumah, peace be upon her, and the birth anniversary of Imam Hasan Alaskari, peace be upon him, ten sheep were sacrificed by the Office of the Religious Authority, and their meat was distributed to needy families in cooperation with Almustafa Cultural and Charitable Foundation.

A delegation from the Office also visited the Fatimah Alzahra Mosque in the Shulgarh district to inspect the progress of its construction, which is being supervised by the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi.

In Kabul, the Office of the Religious Authority held its weekly gathering, attended by a number of scholars, clerics, and believers. Sheikh Javid delivered a lecture explaining certain verses of the Holy Quran and discussed the relationship between this world and the hereafter from an Islamic perspective, emphasizing the comprehensiveness of Islam. These programs aim to promote the teachings of Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them, and strengthen religious awareness within society.

Additionally, the Orphanage Center of Sayyidah Fatimah Alzahra, peace be upon her, which operates under the Religious Authority in Kabul, distributed monthly financial assistance to more than 150 orphaned and underprivileged families as part of its ongoing efforts to support impoverished groups.
