The office of the eminent Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, in Holy Karbala, held the second mourning gathering of Fatimiyyah to commemorate the days of the Second Fatimiyyah and the martyrdom anniversary of the great lady of Islam, Lady Fatimah Zahra, peace be upon her.

The ceremony took place on Wednesday, the 13th of Jumada I, 1447 AH, beginning with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a lecture delivered by Sayyid Hatem Kharsan, who spoke about the tragedies that befell the Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them.

These annual mourning gatherings, attended by scholars, students of religious seminaries, and believers, aim to keep alive the memory of Lady Fatemah Zahra, peace be upon her, and to highlight her vital role in defending the guardianship (Wilayah) of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
