On Thursday morning, the 14th of Jumada I, 1447 AH (November 6, 2025), a mourning gathering for the Fatimiyyah days was held at the office of the Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, in Kabul, Afghanistan. The event was attended by a group of scholars, members of the Religious Authority’s office, and followers of Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them. The program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the Hadith of Kisa, followed by elegies recited by Sayyid Ali Husseini, one of the eulogists of Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them, and a speech delivered by scholar Muhhaqiq Kusha.
Additionally, on Thursday, the 7th of Jumada I, the weekly gathering of the Religious Authority’s office in Kabul was held with the participation of believers. The program included acts of devotion to the Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them, and a lecture by scholar Shafiq.
In the field of social and humanitarian activities, the office of the Religious Authority in Mazar Sharif, in cooperation with the Almustafa Charity and Cultural Foundation, slaughtered five sheep on the 7th and 9th of Jumada I, distributing the meat among needy families. This initiative was carried out in accordance with the Religious Authority’s guidance to assist vulnerable segments of society.
Meanwhile, the Misbah Alhussein Cultural and Charitable Foundation in the Holy City of Karbala, affiliated with the office of the Religious Authority, distributed food baskets containing essential supplies to 300 needy families in Kabul, in cooperation with the IHC global charity organization. In a statement issued by the foundation, the initiative was described as an effort to act upon the Religious Authority’s directives, promote humanitarian values, and support the underprivileged. It was also announced that this charitable program will continue regularly.
