The Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Center for Strategic Studies, one of the centers affiliated with the Religious Authority in the Holy City of Najaf, organized a poetry gathering as part of its first series of literary and artistic programs to honor the prominent Iraqi poet Ahmad Fashlan Al-Waeli.
The event was attended by a number of prominent Iraqi folk poets, who presented their own poems in tribute to the poet. The gathering took place in a special literary and artistic setting and received widespread appreciation from activists in the field of folk poetry.
