A delegation from the Ahlul Bayt (P.B.U.T.) Cultural and Charitable Institution, one of the centers affiliated with the Religious Authority in the city of Basra, met and held discussions with the Director of the Civil Status Department in the Al-Deir district.

During the meeting, the delegation became familiar with the operational mechanisms of the department, as well as its programs and services provided to the citizens of Basra. Views were also exchanged on ways to strengthen cultural and social cooperation.

The delegation also met with Sheikh Alaa Al-Shannan, one of the representatives of the Religious Authority in the Qurna district, where both sides emphasized the importance of organizing cultural programs in the district in the coming days.
