Through the efforts of the Ahlul Bayt (P.B.U.T.) Cultural and Charitable Institute, one of the centers affiliated with the Religious Authority in the city of Basra, Iraq, a delegation of journalists and media professionals from Basra visited the residence of the eminent Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, in the Holy City of Qom, where they met with him.

Members of the delegation also met with Sayyid Hussein Shirazi, the son of the eminent Religious Authority, and benefited from his guidance regarding the role of media in defending the oppressed, as well as the necessity for media professionals to uphold honesty and convey the truth.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Sayyid Hussein Shirazi awarded certificates of participation in the journalism and media training course of the Ahlul Bayt (P.B.U.T.) Institute to the participants.
