On Monday, January 5, 2026 (15 Rajab 1447 A.H.), followers gathered at the residence of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi in Holy Qom to commemorate the martyrdom of Lady Zaynab Al-Kubra (P.B.U.H.), the daughter of Imam Ali (P.B.U.H.) and a symbol of patience and sacrifice.
The mourning gathering was attended by the Grand Religious Authority, scholars, seminary students, and devotees of the Prophet’s Family (P.B.U.T.). The speaker spoke about the trials and sufferings of Lady Zaynab (P.B.U.H.), and participants observed mourning rituals. The ceremony concluded with prayers for the hastening of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (P.B.U.T.) and the protection of Shia communities around the world.
