The Zaynabiyah Women Seminary, a center affiliated to the Religious Authority in Damascus, Syria, held a ceremony marking the anniversary of the birth of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him.

The celebration, attended by hundreds of women and girls, featured poetry recitals, religious eulogies and speeches outlining the virtues and legacy of the Imam, organizers said.

The event also included theatrical performances and the awarding of prizes to participants in an atmosphere of joy and devotion, part of a continuing program by local religious institutions to observe Islamic occasions and support community engagement.
