The Adam Human Rights Center, one of the institutions affiliated with the Religious Authority in Holy Karbala, organized a dialogue session at Al-Naba Cultural and Media Institute titled “The Balance Between the Requirements of Humanitarian Intervention and State Sovereignty.”
The meeting was attended by a group of professors, directors of research centers, and specialized academics. The main paper of the session was presented by the center’s researcher, Dr. Alaa Husseini.
During his presentation, he pointed to the existence of double standards in international issues and their impact on the application of humanitarian principles and respect for state sovereignty.
