During the blessed month of Ramadan, the city of Isfahan is witnessing the organization of dozens of Quran courses by Dar Almahdi Cultural Institute, held at Husseiniyah of Karbalaei Residents of Isfahan, one of the centers affiliated with the Religious Authority. The institute conducts its programs within the framework of its annual plan dedicated to this blessed month.
According to the institute, this year as in previous years, a series of specialized Quran courses is being held for men, women, teenage boys and girls, and children. This initiative aims to strengthen Quranic culture and institutionalize religious awareness among various segments of society and different age groups.
In the men’s section, 17 educational courses are being conducted, including introductory recitation, correct recitation, fluent reading, advanced Tajweed, and voice and melody training. In the women’s and girls’ section, 28 courses are offered covering diverse Quran and doctrinal topics, including Tafsir, Islamic rulings, commentary on Nahj Al-Balagha, Dua Al-Sabah, and an examination of the Sermon of Fadak.
These courses are held throughout the nights of the blessed month of Ramadan and have been met with significant reception, with 690 young boys and teenagers and 360 women and girls participating in the programs.
It is noteworthy that the institute’s activities began in 1996 upon the recommendation of the late Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Husseini Shirazi, may Allah sanctify his soul. Over the years, the center has played an important role in establishing Quranic gatherings and sessions in Isfahan and its surrounding areas.
