Sheikh Jalal Maash, representative of the esteemed religious authority Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi (May God grant him a long life), met and conversed with Sheikh Sabri Sayin, the Friday Imam of Mahdiyeh Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey.

The meeting, which was also attended by Sheikh Mohsen Torkzadeh, director of Alzahra Peace be Upon Her Satellite, focused on the importance of commemorating the Ghadeer Holiday and the necessity of explaining the messages of this major Islamic holiday. Sheikh Maash, noting the large presence of devotees of Prophet Muhammad and His Family, peace be upon them, in mosques and Islamic centers in Turkey, described this as a sign of the people’s love and devotion to Prophet Muhammad and His Infallible Family (peace be upon them).

Sheikh Sabri Sayin, while presenting a report on the activities and programs of the Mahdiyeh Mosque, described the cultural programs and Ghadeer holiday celebrations in the mosque and the region, noting the widespread reception of these programs by believers.

Following the meeting, Sheikh Maash attended Friday prayers at the Mahdiyeh Mosque and, after the prayer, met and spoke with the believers.
