The Ibn Fahd Alhelli Seminary, may his soul rest in peace, one of the scholarly centers associated with the Religious Authority in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, held a gathering on Sunday morning, August 23, 2026, to commemorate the occasion known as the Second Ghadeer, attended by a number of scholars and students of religious sciences.

The ninth day of the month of Rabi Alawwal is known in Shia Islam as the Second Ghadeer and is regarded as one of the occasions associated with expressing disassociation from the enemies of Prophet Muhammad and his Household, peace be upon them.

The gathering highlighted the significance of this day in the teachings of the Household of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon them. The Supreme Religious Authority Ayatollah Shirazi, may grant him a long life, has also described the ninth day of the month of Rabi Alawwal as a day for expressing disassociation from the enemies of Prophet Muhammad and his Household, peace be upon them.

The gathering was attended by a number of scholars and students of this Seminary.
