The Khuddam Ahlul Bayt Peace Be Upon Them, one of the centers associated with the Religious Authority in Holy Karbala, Iraq, continues to hold home mourning gatherings during the mourning days commemorating the martyrdom of Lady Fatimah, peace be upon her.

These gatherings are held to commemorate the martyrdom of Lady Fatimah Alzahra, peace be upon her, based on the account that her martyrdom occurred 40 days after the martyrdom of her father Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his household. The mourning gatherings will continue until the 20th day of Jumada Althani.

The gatherings are held on a rotating basis in the homes of believers and are attended by mourners, religious and social figures, members of the Religious Authority’s Office in Holy Karbala, and officials from centers and institutions associated with the Religious Authority.

Those attending commemorate the suffering of Lady Fatimah Alzahra, peace be upon her, mourn her martyrdom, seek her intercession, and honor her status and position.
