The Ahlul Bayt Peace Be Upon Them Husseiniyah in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, held its weekly mourning gathering on Tuesday evening during the days commemorating the martyrdom of Lady Fatimah Almasumah, peace be upon her, the beloved daughter of Imam Musa Alkadhim, peace be upon him. The gathering was attended by believers, followers of Prophet Muhammad and his Household, peace be upon them.

The gathering began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the Supplication of Tawassul and Ziyarat Ashura. Scholar Sheikh Abbas Alnaseri then delivered a speech on the life and distinguished status of Lady Fatimah Almasumah, known as the esteemed daughter of the Household of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon them, and the sister of Imam Redha, peace be upon him.

In another part of his speech, Sheikh Alnaseri referred to her tragic martyrdom and her holy resting place in the holy city of Qom, in Iran. He noted that after Lady Fatimah Alzahra, peace be upon her, she is the only woman for whom a specific pilgrimage supplication has been narrated from the Infallible Imams, peace be upon them. He also cited a statement attributed to Imam Redha, peace be upon him: “Whoever visits Lady Masumah in Qom, Paradise is for him.”
