The Office of Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Hosseini Shirazi in the holy city of Najaf commemorated the 100th anniversary of the destruction of the holy shrines of the Shia Imams and the 22nd anniversary of the passing of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Hussaini Shirazi. Dozens of scholars and seminarians from Najaf and cultural and social figures attended the ceremony and condemned the crime of the destruction of the holy shrines in Baqi' cemetery, calling for the reconstruction of this sacred site.
