The magnificent procession of the Arbaeen was organized by Sayyid Al-Shuhada Committee in East Africa. This event, in accordance with the recommendations of the esteemed Ayatollah Sayyid Sadeq Hosseini Shirazi, may his shadow endure, aimed at globalizing the rituals of Imam Hussein and reflecting and introducing the grandeur of the Arbaeen to the world. In the procession, hundreds of believers and followers of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, from the Shia community in East Africa came together. They not only commemorated the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein but also prayed for the hastening of the reappearance of Imam Al-Mahdi (P.B.U.H). The attendees also supplicated to the Almighty to have their names included among the pilgrims of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The Sayyid Al-Shuhada Committee is one of the organizations affiliated with the office of the esteemed Ayatollah Sayyid Sadeq Hosseini Shirazi in Kuwait. They have carried out various charitable, cultural, religious, educational, and welfare activities in underprivileged areas and Shia communities in African countries.
