A commemorative ceremony marking the sixteenth anniversary of the passing of the late Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Reza Shirazi, was held at the office of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadegh Hosseini Shirazi, located in the city of Basra. In this event, Sheikh Nizar al-Hasan, the director of the religious authority office in Basra, and Seyyed Haider Musavi delivered speeches reflecting on the ethical and scholarly contributions of the late jurist. Additionally, the weekly Tawassul ceremony to the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, took place at the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Basra last Friday. The gathering of followers of the infallible and pure household witnessed the recitation of the sacred Ziyarat Ashura and the conduct of mourning ceremonies in honor of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
