On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hussaini Shirazi in Mazare Sharif, Afghanistan, slaughtered 70 sheep. This act was intended for the health and hastening of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance). The meat was distributed to hundreds of orphaned and needy families. The charitable activity was carried out with the cooperation of the Ahlulbayt Charity Institute in Kuwait, the Misbah Al-Hussein Cultural-Charitable Foundation in Karbala, and other benefactors.
