The office of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq Hosseini Shirazi in Basra, Iraq, is hosting mourning ceremonies for the general public during the first ten days of Muharram 1446. Dozens of believers, religious, scholarly, and cultural figures participate in these events from the beginning of the month, holding mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussein (P.B.U.H.).
