On the occasion of World Television Day, Nonviolence Incorporation (Free Muslims) issued a statement highlighting the transformative role of television. The statement reads:
"Television has made significant strides in reshaping public perspectives and illuminating critical causes of ideological and cultural conflicts among Islamic nations, especially with the rise of satellite networks operating beyond the control of oppressive regimes. The Shirazi religious authority has played a pivotal role in encouraging the optimal use of television to advance human causes, foster knowledge, and promote culture. Marking World Television Day, Nonviolence Incorporation emphasizes the need for increased efforts to reform cultural pathways in the Islamic world, counter Western cultural invasions promoting moral decay, and expose malicious agendas embedded in certain programs.
The organization calls on Islamic TV managers to uphold the vision of the late Grand Ayatollah Sayed Muhammad Hussaini Shirazi, founder of Islamic satellite networks, by utilizing talented individuals to promote social reform and human rights, prioritizing the preservation of humanity and innate morality."
