On Saturday, 26th of Jumada al-Thani 1446, the first conference of the Alsha’er Media Group was held in Baghdad, Iraq, under the title "Nations Progress Through Good Deeds and Targeted Media" at the grand hall of the al-Zahra (P.B.U.H.) Palace in Kadhimayn, a center affiliated with the religious authority. The event was attended by officials and members of cultural, religious, and social institutions, along with members and officials from religious assemblies. Additionally, Sheikh Mehdi Ma'ash, a representative from the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hussaini Shirazi in the holy city of Qom, was present. During his speech, Sheikh Ma'ash expressed gratitude for the activities of the Alsha’er Media Group and conveyed the greetings and prayers of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi (may his shadow be prolonged). He also highlighted key aspects of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi's religious authority, including its rich historical background, academic leadership, and active presence in society. Other topics discussed included the objectives of the Alsha’er Media Group, its role in promoting social and media services, and its contribution to Iraqi society. The Alsha’er Media Group, affiliated with the religious authority in Iraq, operates over thirty media centers focused on religious, cultural, and social fields.
