The Ahl al-Bayt Cultural and Charitable Institute, affiliated with the religious authority in Basra, Iraq, distributed school bags to hundreds of orphaned and needy children in the city. This charitable initiative, held on the occasion of the birthday of Imam Muhammad Baqir (P.B.U.T.), was carried out in accordance with the recommendations of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hussaini Shirazi to support orphans and the needy. The distribution was conducted in collaboration with the Misbah al-Hussein (P.B.U.T.) Cultural-Charitable Institute in Karbala (under the supervision of the Religious Authority’s office), benefiting students from three primary schools in the areas of Zubair, Qurna, and Abu al-Khasib. The event included a celebration, where the principals and staff of the schools were also honored with certificates of appreciation.
