The office of the esteemed Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hosseini Shirazi in Mazare Sharif, Afghanistan, continued its charitable activities by sacrificing several sheep. This took place on Thursday, the 1st of Rajab 1446, with prayers for the health and swift reappearance of Imam al-Zamana (may Allah hasten his reappearance). The occasion also marked the birth anniversary of Imam Muhammad Baqir (PBUH). The meat from the sacrifice was distributed among dozens of orphaned and needy families in the city of Mazare Sharif.
