The streets of Karbala were filled with a large procession and celebration for the birth of Imam Ali (PBUH) on the 13th of Rajab. Organized by the Public Relations Center of Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq al-Husseini Shirazi’s office, many Shia Muslims gathered near the shrine of Allama Ahmad Bin Fahd al-Hilli. Participants carried flowers, chanted slogans in support of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his family, and proceeded to Zaynabiya Hill to congratulate Lady Zaynab (PBUH). Sayed Aref Nasrallah explained that due to recent security conditions, the procession was moved from Damascus to Karbala. The event concluded with the recitation of the Ziyarat of Lady Zaynab (PBUH), attended by thousands, including religious and cultural figures.
