A group of notable residents and religious figures from the city of Najaf visited the headquarters of the Shia Satellite Channels and Radios Union—one of the institutions affiliated with the religious authority—to honor its director, Haj Nasser al-Shahmani, for his ongoing efforts in media coverage of Hussaini rituals in Iraq, particularly in Najaf. During the ceremony, three honorary plaques were presented to al-Shahmani in recognition of his contributions in documenting and broadcasting activities that serve the sacred cause of Imam Hussain (A.S.).
