Coinciding with the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (peace be upon him), Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Sadiq al-Basri, Director of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) Cultural and Charitable Institute — one of the centers affiliated with the Marja‘iyya in the city of Basra — carried out a series of field visits to Husayniyahs and religious centers as part of efforts to expand cultural and service-based collaborations.
As part of this initiative, he visited the Lady Umm al-Banin (peace be upon her) Husayniyah in the Dur al-Dhubbat district and held discussions with its custodian, Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Sharif al-Obaidi.
He also visited the Al-Thaqalayn Husayniyah in the Qiblah district, meeting with its custodian, Haj Abu Qasim, and stopped by the Ma‘qil Cultural Center.
Furthermore, Sheikh al-Basri hosted Sayyid Muhammad al-Jabiri, head of the Qur'anic Association, as well as a delegation from the Iraqi House of Press.
These visits aimed to strengthen relationships, coordinate joint activities, and further the dissemination of the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), while also enhancing services for the honorable people of Basra.
