On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al-Jawad (peace be upon him), the office of the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyed Sadiq Hussaini Shirazi (may God grant him long life), in the holy city of Karbala held a grand mourning ceremony.
The ceremony took place on the morning of Wednesday, the 30th of Dhu al-Qa'dah, 1446 AH, and began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an.
Following that, Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Nasser al-Haeri ascended the pulpit and spoke about the qualities and virtues of Imam Jawad (peace be upon him).
