Al-Yasin Mosque and Hussainiya, one of the centers affiliated with the Religious Authority in Sydney, Australia, held a special mourning ceremony on the 8th of Dhu al-Hijjah to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Muslim ibn Aqeel (peace be upon him). The ceremony featured a lecture by Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Montadhar Malallah and mourning recitations by eulogist Muhammad Khaghani in honor of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
In addition, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Hussainiya carried out the ritual sacrifice of several sheep in Iran, Iraq, and Syria. The meat was distributed among the needy in these countries as part of a humanitarian initiative.
