Sheikh Haider Al-Mawla, Director of the Allama Muhaqqiq Karaki Seminary—an institution affiliated with the Religious Authority in the holy city of Karbala—continued his missionary outreach by visiting several Hussaini service tents (mawakib) in the province of Basra. During his visit, he met and held discussions with the servants of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), including the heads of mawakib and active youth volunteers.
In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of Hussaini rituals (sha‘a’ir) in preserving the identity of the Shia faith and called on seminary students to take active roles in organizing these religious programs. He also stressed the necessity of maintaining regular contact with scholars in order to safeguard the authentic path of Hussaini mourning.
The seminary director further conveyed the recommendations of the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah al-Udhma Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini Shirazi (may his shadow be prolonged), who consistently emphasizes the revival of religious symbols, the integration of these practices with genuine doctrinal culture, and the need to strengthen love for the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the hearts of people—especially the youth.
At the end of his visit, Sheikh Al-Mawla gifted several publications of the Grand Ayatollah to the mawakib leaders and encouraged them to expand their cultural activities alongside their hospitality services for pilgrims.
Additionally, Sheikh Al-Mawla visited the office of the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah al-Udhma Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini Shirazi (may his shadow be prolonged), where he met with Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Nizar Al-Hassan, the director of the office, and held further discussions.
