The office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husayni al-Shirazi in the city of Mahajanga, Madagascar, organized a cultural competition focused on memorizing the "Sermon of the God-fearing" in celebration of the upcoming Eid al-Ghadir.

This competition saw widespread participation from young Shia individuals, with two contestants achieving top ranks. The final stage of the contest is scheduled to take place next Sunday, coinciding with the grand Eid al-Ghadir celebration at the Marja’iyya office.

Additionally, prior to this event, the Marja’iyya office conducted a charitable initiative coinciding with Eid al-Adha by distributing sacrificial meat among Shia students residing in the Sultan al-Muallifin dormitory.
