Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Hussainiya, one of the centers affiliated with the Marja'iyya in the holy city of Najaf, held a grand central festival in celebration of Eid al-Ghadir to honor the Hussaini processions (mawakeb) and committees of the city.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of religious figures and Hussaini activists from various provinces of Iraq. During the event, the “Ghadir Medal” and the “Hussaini Service Plaque” were awarded to a group of distinguished servants of the cause of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him).

This recognition was given in appreciation of the sincere and ongoing efforts of these groups in serving the sacred cause of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and in keeping the Hussaini rituals alive.
