Anwar al-Jawadayn Institute, affiliated with the religious authority in Baghdad, as in previous years, is hosting mourning ceremonies for Imam Sayyed al-Shuhada (peace be upon him) during the first ten days of Muharram 1447 AH.

These programs, which began on the first night of Muharram, are held with the participation of a group of faithful believers and devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Verses from the Holy Quran are recited at the beginning of the ceremonies, followed by a speech by Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Mohammad al-Zubaidi, focusing on the teachings of the Ashura school.

At the conclusion, mourners engage in lamentation and elegy recitation for the Master of Martyrs.
