The office of the Grand Marja‘, Ayatollah al-‘Uzma Sayyid Sadiq Husayni, in the holy city of Karbala held mourning gatherings on the 28th of Safar al-Ahzan, 1447 AH, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

The morning session began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a lecture delivered by the Husayni preacher Hujjat al-Islam Zaki Bayati.

In the afternoon session, Hujjat al-Islam Kamal Ma‘ash spoke on the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), its impact on the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and also reflected on the tragedy of Karbala and the martyrdom of Imam al-Husayn (peace be upon him).
